COVID-19 Updates

Melbourne is now moving towards ‘COVID Normal’ with many of the restrictions being eased and the city returning to life. In step with the easing of restrictions in Victoria, the University is planning for a gradual return of more activities on campus in the new year.

In Semester 1 2021, learning will happen through a mix of face-to-face and online activities.

RMIT plans to have as many classes on campus as possible, however physical distancing and overseas travel restrictions means it will not be possible to have all learning activities on campus.

Hundreds of courses will continue to be available online for you to resume face-to-face when possible, without compromising on the quality of our education and student outcomes. We welcome you to an engaged digital community, where we connect and learn together, no matter where you are in the world.
