What made you choose to become an entrepreneur?
I wanted the freedom to plan my own schedule and work on my own dreams.

What are the skills required to become an entrepreneur in your field?
I don't think there are specific skills but definitely will require these qualities:

1) Grit
2) Willingness to learn
3) Be prepared to change your course/direction

Tell us about your company. What inspired you to come up with this business?
My company, The Pixel Geek, is a marketing agency that specialises in helping business owners acquire High Ticket Clients through our own “Click To Client in 72 Hours” Strategy.

I realise there is no (or lack of) straightforward solution for businesses selling high ticket offers (S$5,000 and above) in products/services. Hence, I decided to cater our solution to them.

What are some of the biggest challenges you face in creating this business? How do you deal with them?
There was a lot of testing and tweaking of our marketing system and we started by testing it on our own. The challenge was that it could not be rushed and every time something was tested we had to wait for the market to respond and read the data.

We just needed to be patient.

What other plans do you have in your pipeline?
I am planning to partner up with different experts to create a holistic solution for businesses/companies. For example, we would like to work with a voice coach to help project the voice of a presenter in the best possible way.

What advice do you have for people who wish to become entrepreneurs?
Find a fellow entrepreneur who is starting out just like you and become buddies (like in the army). Meet weekly to update each other on progress/KPI. Having a partner who holds me accountable helps me to grow.
