Admission policy for international schools in Singapore

Last Updated on 7 December 2020

Singaporeans who wish to attend international schools locally are required to get approval from the Ministry of Education (MOE).

Returning Singaporeans who have been studying overseas for a substantial period of time and who wish to continue their studies in the overseas school curriculum may apply for admission, according to MOE. Approval may also be granted to children with special learning needs, those with one foreign parent and one Singaporean parent, and families likely to relocate overseas soon.

MOE approval is required for pupils attending primary school level and above.
